We are currently partnering with a Top 40 UK law firm with offices nationwide, who are looking to recruit a 1-3 PQE Local Authority Personal Injury solicitor to join their Casualty team. Your new role
This Local Authority Personal Injury solicitor role will see you handle your own caseload of litigated and non-litigated complex psychiatric social care claims, acting on behalf of local authorities and insurers. Your caseload will consist of failure to monitor, take into care, failure to remove/protect, abuse, negligent removal and Human Rights Act. You will also be asked to assist senior team members with cases, client development and training.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be 1-3 years PQE, ideally from a defendant background. Strong candidates with claimant experience may also be considered. Personal Injury experience is essential, including experience handling and valuing claims. Social Care experience is favourable, but not essential and training will be provided. You must have excellent knowledge of CPR and litigation. Strong IT, written and communication skills are required. Successful candidates must have good time management, be organised and be able to multitask.
