Initial 3-6 month contract
Rate: Negotiable, indicate rate sought
21.6 Hours per week
- Acting in connection with property disposals usually by way of auction and also on acquisitions of units which were previously subject to the Right to Buy legislation but which are now comprised within a Council development scheme.
- Providing due diligence reports on title concerning sites which have been identified for redevelopment within the Council’s housing redevelopment scheme.
- Assisting senior Property Lawyers with the preparation of Compulsory Purchase Orders which may involve advising on the preparation of evidence from Council officers, briefing barristers and attending inquiries.
- Acting in connection with the Council’s regular portfolio instructions which will include the grant of new leases, lease renewals, deeds of variation, deeds of surrender, licences and rent reviews.
- Acting on behalf of the Council as landowner concerning the grants of easements and covenants.
