Locum Property Lawyer

Locum Property Lawyer – South West – Full or Part Time – 3 Months + - Hybrid or Remote Working

Venn Group’s specialist Legal recruitment team is pleased to be assisting a Local Authority in the South West which is seeking to appoint a talented Locum Property Lawyer to join their team. This is a full or part time (minimum 3 days) position for an initial duration of 3 months. Hybrid working is preferred, however the client may consider remote working applicants.

The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with experience handling a commercial property caseload within Local Governments. An hourly umbrella rate of up to £50 is offered for this role.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Dealing with a varied caseload of residential and commercial property work to include residential acquisitions, lease renewals, title queries and transactions of a more complex nature
• Handling numerous matters regarding Land Registry and SDLT applications post-completion
• Representing the Authority’s clients and negotiating with third parties on any commercial property-related matters
