Logistics Coordinator
Location: Biggin Hill
Salary: GBP25,000 per year, pro rata
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm. (Potential to work from home one day a week)
Job type: 3-month contract
Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for a Logistics Coordinator to join their ever-expanding team. You will be working within the Service Delivery teams and reporting to Service Delivery Regional Management.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator:
Produce documentation/ invoices for overseas shipments
Effectively communicate with internal teams, recognise any errors in paperwork, including identifying potential customer errors (with purchase orders, sales orders, pick lists, shipping details).
Liaise with warehouse colleagues to ensure SLAs are met.
Comfortable with and keen to learn how to use various software packages required to perform this role.
Raising purchase orders
Assist/ensure supplies are on time
Liaise with couriers regarding any delivery issues
Flexibility with working hours due to operational requirements
Support and assist with other Operational functions when required.
Requirements of the Logistics Coordinator:
2+ yrs. Admin experience
Familiarity with International Trading would be an advantage
Import/Export experience
Experience working with ERP systems, especially Oracle based.
Strong communication, negotiation skills and customer service skills are imperative
Spoken & written English to a high standard.
Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint computer applications
Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
