I am recruiting for an experienced Logistics Specialist/Logistics Customer Service Advisor to work for a well-known Feltham-based client. My client has over 5300 global employees and specialises in import, export, customs brokerage services and warehousing solutions. This is a Monday-Friday office-based role, working from 9am to 5:30pm.
Main duties:
- Handling all administrative processes involved in a wholesale and e-commerce warehouse environment
- Liaising with clients and service providers, building strong relationships with both
- Reviewing and streamlining logistics and warehousing
- Providing excellent Customer Service at all times
- Ensuring that customer expectations are met during the movement of cargo
- Handling orders, emails and carrying out various administrative tasks
- Booking courier collections via the in-house warehouse management system
Key requirements:
- Computer literate and familiar with CRM/WHM (warehouse management) systems
- Strong admin and Customer Service skills
- 2-3 years' experience in a client management/Customer Service role within the logistics/freight sector
- Able to work independently/unsupervised whilst liaising with and supporting the wider team
- Exposure to clients who use Zedonk and Shopify software systems (ideal but not essential)
- Level D security clearance (ideal but not essential)
- Good network within ocean carrier and transportation organizations (ideal but not essential)
