Logistics and Customs Manager

Michael Page Logistics are looking to recruit a Logistics and Customs Manager for our client in Teddington.

Our client provide facilities management services to a range of specialist customers. You will be partnered with a great business taking responsibility for Logistics Operations across the site.

Description

In the role of Logistics & Customs Manager you'll be responsible for:

• Ensuring despatches are recorded, packaged, and passed to the appropriate and designated courier for forward despatching.
• Collating and forwarding all customs related information to the appropriate authority on behalf of the clients finance team.
• Ensuring all taxable items incurred when shipping is reported and associated auditable information is maintained.
• Authorising sufficient stock and supplies deliveries to contract sites remaining within site budget.
• Supporting with the physical movement of stock and facilities management on site
• Health and safety on site

Profile

The ideal candidate for this role will meet the following criteria:

• Previous management experience within the Logistics and with some knowledge of Customs
• Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure and influence at a senior level
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the logistics industry.
• Ability to multi-task with a methodical approach with an ability to work under pressure
