Our Cambridgeshire based client are looking for an experienced Logistics Customer Service Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit a dynamic individual who is used to working in a busy environment within a small team with the right can do attitude.
The main purpose of the Logistics Customer Service Assistant role is to assist the Production & Logistics Manager.

Main responsibilities:
Enter orders into the data base, accurately and following procedures.
Communicate the proposed transport plans with customers, suppliers, and the drivers.
Process routine administration relating to transport & Deliveries.
Assist with the operation of the weighbridge.
Answering in bound calls and communicating affectively via email.
Process purchases and sales orders.
Communicating with Customers, Suppliers and internal team members.
Key skills & experience
Minimum 2 years office work.
Experience within the transport office would be advantageous.
Friendly telephone manner

Working hours
Monday to Friday: The core business hours are between 07:00 – 18:00hrs, the company are open to static shifts however rotating shifts are open for discussions. Such as 06:00 -14:00hrs or 10:00 – 18:00hrs. To be discussed during interview.
Pay: £25,000k - £30,000k per annum DOE
