The company
A rapidly growing FMCG business that have increased in size by a third over the last year. Shipping to 45 countries and manufacturing 10 million units a year across 3 sites.
What will you do?
- Responsible for managing a team of 3
- Ensure that import and export operations comply with all local and international trade policies and laws regarding trade, shipping and storage of inventory
- Manage collection and deliveries with couriers
- Ensure a seamless, efficient and cost-effective delivery system across international markets
- Tracking of shipments & dealing with delivery queries
- Managing Logistics provider relationship
What do you need?
- An in-depth knowledge of international shipping protocols and regulatory compliance
- Managed a team
- Previously experience working with freight forwarding companies
- An extensive knowledge in the modes of transportation, location specific export regulations and supply chain management
- Understanding of the processes of international trade and commerce
