Warehouse Shift Manager

Ten Live Ltd are urgently recruiting a Warehouse Shift Manager for a Global Distribution company based in the Carlisle Area. This is an amazing opportunity to work within a fast growing and adaptable business.

Job Title – Warehouse Shift Manager

The Role:

As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of your shift, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely. You will lead by example, motivating and managing your team to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff during shifts.
• Ensure all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations are followed.
• Oversee the production process, making adjustments as necessary to meet production targets.
• Monitor team performance, identifying any areas of improvement.
• Conduct training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the shift.
• Provide regular reports on shift activities, including any incidents or deviations from the plan.
• Work closely with other Shift Managers and the senior management team to implement continuous improvement strategies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shift Manager or Team Leader within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends, according to the 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
• A commitment to health and safety standards.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve production targets.
• Experience in conducting performance evaluations and training sessions.

Salary - £36 - £38k per annum

Hours - 4 on/4 off rota – working 2 days / 2 nights
