We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Large Loss Claims professional to join our team in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling Large Loss Claims, assessing damages, and managing the claims process from start to finish. The Large Loss Claims professional will work closely with insurance adjusters, policyholders, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure prompt and efficient claim resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and evaluate Large Loss Claims to determine coverage and liability
Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of damages
Review policy details and documentation to process claims accurately
Communicate effectively with policyholders, insurance adjusters, and third-party vendors
Negotiate settlements and manage claims payments
Coordinate repair and restoration efforts with contractors and service providers
Maintain detailed records and documentation of claim activities
Requirements:
Previous experience in handling Large Loss Claims in the insurance industry
Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims procedures, and coverage
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to independently manage a caseload of claims effectively
Proficiency in claims management software and MS Office applications
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to claim sites
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus car allowance of £4,800
Location: West Yorkshire (WF17 9TB)
