TeacherActive are looking for a Special Educational Needs TA / Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic school in the Newport area. The ideal Teaching Assistant / TA will need to have experience working with children with various special educational needs. The ideal Teaching Assistant will also need to have experience working in a 1:1 setting in the classroom with children with special educational needs. The position is full time, commencing as soon as possible. There is also the opportunity for the roles to become permanent if the school like you! This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your CPD and keep everyday exciting.
The ideal TA / Teaching Assistant should have the following:
At least Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment.Experience working with children with special educational needs in a 1:1 setting.A calm, patient and caring personaGood communication skillsA good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelinesThe ideal Teaching Assistant will be paid £65 - £75 a day. All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
