Lunchtime Support Worker – Day Services

Part time – 10 hours per week – 52 weeks per year

We are looking to appoint caring, pro-active, and resilient team players to join our Day Service provision at Camphill Wakefield, as a Lunchtime Support Worker.

Camphill Wakefield provides educational and social support to children and adults with varying support needs. We provide education in our on-site SEND college and a social day care service.

What you will be doing

As a Support Worker, you will provide high quality support and assist in promoting a nurturing and person-centred environment to a variety of our amazing students! This will include preparing for lunch break and supporting our students during their lunch in line with their dietary, fluid and any other support needs.

No two days will be the same and you will have opportunity to support our students to achieve their desired outcomes through effective support, meaningful activities and social interaction.

You will show a commitment to ensuring Camphill Wakefield meets the high standards of support, education and training within its own quality assurance framework, as well as meeting the expectations and guidelines of the placing authorities and inspectorates.

You will join a committed and dedicated team and be part of the ‘hands on’ approach to running all services at Camphill. You will be highly rewarded with the pleasure of working alongside our students to strive for excellence.
