About you:
We are looking for an individual that is enthusiastic, motivated and passionate with a strong work ethic. You will positively demonstrate the following attributes:
• You will be a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• You must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and operate effectively in a fast-paced evolving environment.
• You will have a proactive approach, inquisitive by nature with a strong eye for detail.
• Credible and professional behaviour.
• Computer literate with strong excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to work in a methodical manner.
Day-to-day, you will:
For each acquisition:
• Conduct the internal finance operations due diligence process - reviewing dataroom, meeting acquisition finance contacts, identifying & reporting issues & risks.
• Run finance integration process upon completion (adding to group insurances, VAT, fleet & treasury etc)
• Manage interim monthly accounting/reporting process until live on our systems.
• Build an effective working relationship with the legacy finance team.
• Interact with wider Access integration/M&A/Finance Systems teams through regular meetings.
• Migrate balance sheet into Access financial systems and handover to BAU team.
• Assist with any other acquisition tasks needed to ensure successful onboarding of the acquired company including revenue assurance.
• Constantly look for ways to improve the existing processes.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Exposure to an acquisition environment background.
• Any experience within a global group would be an advantage.
• Exposure to Access Dimensions software would be a benefit but not essential.
