This global brand is looking for Research Engineers to join their growing AI team.
THE COMPANY
This very successful, global brand are looking to grow their existing AI Research team. They're working on a range of projects including NLP, Continual Learning, Model Compression and AI privacy and security. If you're experienced or a PhD graduate with publications / expertise in any of these areas this could be a great next step. You'll get to publish papers, attend conferences and learn from experts in the industry!
THE ROLE
As an ML Research Engineer for the business you will:
- Develop state-of-the-art solutions to relevant business & industry problems.
- Propose novel research ideas considering real-world constraints
- Liaise with the engineering team to help get research ideas into production
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- PhD in a relevant subject
- Experience as the first author on publications (e.g., ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR, SysML, IEEE TPAMI, IEEE IoT, IEEE TNNLS, JMLR or similar)
- Experience of Machine Learning in one or more of their focus areas mentioned above
- Tech: Python, PyTorch, Tensorflow, C++
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Basic salary up to £75,000

- Bonus up to 20% (average achieved is 12%)
- Hybrid working - x3 days in the office
INTERVIEW PROCESS
- 3 stage interview process covering mathematics, probability, statistics and computer science skills
