Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operative to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs. As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Operating machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal output
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Conducting quality checks on finished products to maintain quality standards
- Following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Assisting with other tasks as needed to support the production process
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operative or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery effectively
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
