We have an opportunity for a Machine Operator to join us at Honeywell, in Southend, where you will be operating power presses in the press shop, working on the single action presses, cleaning plant and the paint plant, etc.
This role is 100% on-site and operates on 4 days a week as follows:
- Monday to Wednesday 6:30am – 4:30pm and Thursday 6:30am – 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating single action presses, and working on cleaning plant as well as the paint plant
- Will require to be able to keep up with the speed of the conveyor when working in the paint plant.
- Be able to work on their own as well as a team supporting with daily demand and targets.
- Participate in improvement teams and actively support waste reduction initiatives.
- Comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental & COSHH requirements.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience within a similar role in a high-volume production environment.
- Ideally conversant with working in press shop
- Experience of working to a high standard of quality control
- Willing to adapt to new working practices and techniques.
- Ability to work well as part of a team, flexible and able to use own initiative.
