Start: Asap.
Pay: £11.00 p/h rising to £13.00 p/h once training has been completed.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-17:00.
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Our client based in Cheltenham have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operative to join their team on a 12-week temporary-permanent basis!
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and have worked in a factory environment before, but full training will be provided, this is a repetitive role.
Safety shoes will be required for this role.
Main duties:
- Machine setting.
- Machine operating.
- Machine shutting down.
- Loading and unloading components for zinc plating.
- Quality control/ inspection.
- Completion of check cards.
- Completion of check sheets.
- Data entry.
- Manual handling.
- Heavy lifting.
Candidate attributes:
- Previous experience in a similar role desirable.
- Previous experience in a factory environment desirable.
- The ability to operate and shut down machinery.
- The ability to work in a safe and timely manner.
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Comfortable with being on your feet all day.
- The ability to complete quality control checks.
- The ability to complete the relevant paperwork.
