SalaryAdecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a Machine Operator for their client based in Wallsend working day shift only Monday - Friday with a pay rate 12.50 an hour.
Are you passionate about precision engineering and skilled in sheet metal fabrication? We're seeking a talented individual to join our client as a Machine Operator for our state-of-the-art sheet metal fabrication equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate sheet metal fabrication machinery according to job specifications and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and minimise waste.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise work flow and meet production deadlines.
- Inspect finished products for quality control and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating sheet metal fabrication machinery or similar equipment.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and machine controls preferred.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting common machine issues and performing routine maintenance.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
