The Maintenance Assistant will provide a variety of building services repairs and maintenance tasks for our client across two corporate locations within the Southwest.
Job Description
As Maintenance Assistant, you will be working on plumbing, carpentry, fabric-related repairs, general maintenance of M&E assets, and some replacement/installation works.
You'll need to assess and consider the safety of our employees, the security of our assets, and the service to our clients and team members daily.
The emphasis is on providing a world-class building services maintenance experience, ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Main point of contact for all M&E & Fabric related tasks & activities for sites of responsibility
- Management & supervision of H&S of subcontractors, reviewing & approving RAMS, issue of permits, monitoring works, etc
- Ensuring SOP’s/EOP’s are reviewed regularly and kept up to date as required
- Ensure that the administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately
- Provide feedback and suggestions on improvements and innovations to improve the services provided
- Ensure locations of responsibilities (plant rooms, etc..) are kept & maintained to a high standard of good housekeeping
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 products
- Secondary education, high school graduate, certificate in trade school or equivalent work experience
- Must understand how things work (facility-related)
- Must be able to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all customers, other employees, contractors, and vendors
- Delivering to deadlines with the ability to prioritise & manage multiple tasks
