Salary: 18-19,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM
We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Cleaner with general caretaker duties to join our team in Stoke on Trent. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our premises.
Responsibilities as a Maintenance Operative:
- Perform cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure that all areas of the premises are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and general upkeep of the building.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to any maintenance requests or emergencies.
- Assist with setting up rooms for meetings, events, or other activities as required.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements as a Maintenance Operative:
- Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks.
- Flexibility to work additional hours if required.
