Maintenance Coordinator/Manager

We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance of machinery, buildings, utility systems, and facility equipment, ensuring compliance with quality, HSE, and established procedures and standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.
Day to Day of the role:
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, utility systems, and equipment according to planning and priorities.
- Review and prioritize work orders from various departments to complete maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose equipment problems, determine repair needs, and perform repairs, referencing instruction manuals as needed.
- Manage the asset register, FMECA’s, and maintenance strategies through reliability & maintenance engineering.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction by systematically eliminating bad actors.
- Collect and publish key E+M KPI metrics, such as MTBF and MTTR.
- Identify and resolve reliability issues by monitoring programs, historical trends, and KPI data.
- Ensure compliance of vendors, contractors, and visitors with HSE and Security policies.
- Coordinate outside services for complex work, ensuring safe and effective job completion.
- Assign work to maintenance operators and manage man-hour allocation.
- Embed AN ALPS Processes and lead MDI Processes.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for maintenance activities.
- Work with HSE, Production, and Logistics to embed the PSM framework.
- Provide technical guidance to less skilled employees and champion operational equipment effectiveness and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance management within a relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of maintenance processes and reliability engineering.
- Ability to manage maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with HSE regulations and compliance.
- Experience with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance programs.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical proficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
