Salary:                        £30-32,000/annum

Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to work in the Black Country area responsible for both planned and reactive Electrical maintenance.

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• The installation and maintenance of all electrical installations, plant and equipment and have the ability to work from technical drawings, manuals, and schematics, with a view to interpret the information for further development and resolution.
• The testing of all electrical installations, fire alarm systems and emergency lighting and associated plant and equipment. In association with this to modify ‘as fitted’ drawings with respect to circuit references and modifications.
• In terms of Health & Safety, to undertake and contribute towards the development of risk assessments which may be generic and dynamic, which must be recorded together with associated method statements as required. Also, to undertake assessments with respect to the COSHH regulations for any materials, liquids used whilst carrying out installation and maintenance work on site.
• Undertaking planned preventive maintenance routines throughout the site.

The successful candidate will have:

• 18th Edition
• Previous experience with planned and reactive electrical maintenance
