Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and performing repairs as needed.
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
- Installing new machinery and equipment as required.
- Collaborating with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Help Train machine operators in how to get the most from their equipment.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance so that trends can be identified and breakdowns prevented.
Maintenance Engineer Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, with expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment used in maintenance work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and other departments.
