AddressBrightwork are delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at their Moray site.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities on all plant equipment to ensure uninterrupted production. Compliance with industry regulations and best practices is paramount to our client's operations.
This is a full-time, Monday – Friday position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks on plant equipment.
- Contribute to efficiency improvements across various areas of the site.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, reporting any observations to site management.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide recommendations for equipment operation improvements as necessary.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including ATEX and Food Safety.
- Fully engage in Health, Safety, and Environmental training to support legal obligations.
Experience Requirements:
- 2 years of maintenance experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and quality awareness.
- Proficiency in Electrical Testing, fault finding, installation & inspection.
- Ability to carry out mechanical repairs, including motors and inverters.
- Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and objective setting capabilities.
- Recognised Apprenticeship/Engineering qualification, BTEC, HNC, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with PLC systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
