The Client
Our client is a significant presence in the agri-food sector, supplying Northern Ireland and mainland UK. They have undergone steady growth since conception over 50 years ago and are now a well-recognised brand in stores and supermarkets across the country.
Due to their growth, they now find themselves in a position to focus on the efficiency of their operation, minimising down time and maximising productivity.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
- Create and maintain maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Supervise and co-ordinate maintenance activities with external contractors as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with both standards set by the company and external bodies e.g. BRC.
About you
- Third level qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience in Maintenance Engineering
