SalaryOur client are a growing manufacturer in the agri sector who are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join the plant maintenance team.
The successful candidate will carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of plant production equipment.
Monday to Friday days with Saturdays on a rota of 1 in 2 (Saturdays normally finish 1pm)
Suitable candidates will need to be qualified in mechanical, electrical or engineering discipline along with maintenance experience in similar industrial/ factory settings.
The Role
- Planned maintenance on production equipment
- Reactive maintenance, responding to breakdowns and trouble shooting issues
- Actively participate in process improvements and engineering improvements
- Rectify faults quickly and by priority, working with production colleagues to minimise downtime
- Complete maintenance records as required
- Organise and keep a tidy stores area
- Work in line with health & safety practice
What we are looking for
- Qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering
- Maintenance experience working on production plant equipment
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
- Experience with electrical systems is desirable
- Can fault find issues accurately and work quickly under pressure
