Description
- Conducting routine inspections of machinery and systems to identify any necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Performing reactive and preventative maintenance tasks to keep machinery running smoothly.
- Diagnosing faults and investigating equipment breakdowns.
- Repairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning components.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Assisting in the implementation of new machinery.
- Documenting maintenance and repair work for recordkeeping purposes.
- Collaborating with the production team to coordinate maintenance activities.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- HND/ HNC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Apprentice trained
- Experience working in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- A proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to safety.
- Knowledge of PLC faulting finding/ Programmes would be desirable.
