Maintenance Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join us at Midland Lead, an award-winning, Family-run lead sheet manufacturer that offers a comprehensive range of products to both national and independent building and roofing merchants. 
You will be working 40 hours per week on rotating shifts (mornings and afternoons) and will receive a salary up to £45,000 per annum. Your primary focus will be promptly repairing machinery to ensure seamless production without any delays. This is a vital role in keeping the site running smoothly and preventing any adverse impact on our output.

At Midland Lead, we’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer with the following:

• Maintenance experience in traditional plant machinery
• Experience in fixing traditional machinery - gears, motors, control units and general mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience in welding and fabricating OR 18th Edition certification. If you have both that would be highly advantageous, but not essential. Our focus on training and development will ensure we support you with your skills development.
