The position is based at The Salvation Army’s Westminster Homeless Service at St Ann’s in the London Borough of Westminster.
St Ann’s is a supported accommodation service covering a variety of needs.
The role of Maintenance Person is central to service delivery, ensuring that goals and outcomes can be reached in a suitable physical environment, with service delivery goals being met. You will work as part of the staff team, to carrying our repairs as well as liaising with contractors and other external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
The role of Maintenance Person is essential to the smooth running of our accommodation - based services ensuring good quality accommodation is provided and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Basic joinery, plumbing, painting & decorating skills
- Proven organisational skills and experience of working under pressure Working as part of a team
