Description
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions, working closely with the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
- Ensure the facility meets health and safety standards, conducting regular inspections and implementing necessary changes.
- Manage inventory of supplies and spare parts for equipment.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialised maintenance or installations.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Document all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future reference.
- Contribute to a safe and clean work environment by following company procedures and guidelines.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Technician should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with different departments and external contractors.
- A commitment to health and safety standards.
