Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, focusing on electrical maintenance within Radiology and ensuring the upkeep of our facility. You'll play a vital role in planned maintenance, reactive tasks, and supporting building lifecycle activities. We're seeking a proactive individual dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Perform planned maintenance tasks efficiently, minimizing downtime.
- Coordinate with contractors and ensure their work meets quality standards.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, prioritizing as per service level agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any observations to management.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to proactive maintenance efforts.
- Manage stock levels and obtain necessary quotes for spare parts.
Requirements:
- Electrical competence with proven facilities maintenance experience.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills across all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations and Building Management Systems is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Formal engineering qualification or recognized apprenticeship preferred.
- City & Guilds qualification desirable.
Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance, ideally in a healthcare environment.
- Practical knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
- Exposure to Building Management Systems, fire alarms, and access control systems preferred.
Language:
- Proficiency in English required.
Other Details:
- Site-based role with no international travel.
- Compliance with Quality Assurance and Environmental Health & Safety policies is essential.
