SHIFT: 7:45 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
STARTING PAY: $25.00/ hr + $3.00 Shift Differential

We are actively seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing process, with a primary focus on the extrusion department. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain resin systems, vacuum loaders, and clean filters, making necessary repairs.
- Ensure the upkeep of support equipment such as tape feeders, spiral units, extruders, vacuum tanks, pullers, reelers, air systems, and water systems.
- Provide assistance to all departments during breakdowns.
- Perform tooling changes for the extrusion department as required by order changes.
- Utilize a volt meter to check and replace fuses, motor starters, relays, pumps, motors, and troubleshoot faulty electric circuits.
- Assist the general maintenance crew in equipment rebuilds, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety requirements for the position.
- Perform any other duties as directed by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of two years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to perform simple math and take measurements, understanding basic tool use.
- Capability to read and comprehend work instructions and safety documents.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of power transmission equipment, including bearings, gears, sprockets, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and pumps.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools required for the position, including wrenches, torches, volt meters, drill press, and band saw.
- Some electrical ability is preferred.
- Familiarity with plumbing.
- Good knowledge of state and local safety codes.
