Maintenance Technician
Salary: Competitive
Shift: Double Days (6-2 and 2-10)
Location: Sunderland
An opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a FMCG manufacturing company in Sunderland. My client is a renowned manufacturing company (with multiple sites) which comes under a larger renowned manufacturing group. The site employs over 300+ people and our focus is on producing Great Quality Products, Our Customers and Our People. There is has been and continues to be a lot of investment in the site, engineering team and facilities. The business which is part of a larger group is continuing to grow! In return the Maintenance Technician will be a part of a highly skilled engineering team who have been with the business many years and part of the family culture. This role will be given the opportunity to get involved in planned and reactive maintenance.
Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:
- Maintenance Technician MUST be multi-skilled or we will look at if either skilled – preference electrical.
- Maintenance Technician MUST have an engineering qualification/extensive background in an engineering role.
- Maintenance Technician ideally to have worked within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Demonstrates a solid working knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
