Maintenance Technician – Permanent – Telford
L & C Consulting are recruiting with a successful & growing Manufacturing company for a new Maintenance Engineer / Fitter / Technician to join their team on a part time basis. This permanent position will suit an experienced, Maintenance Engineer / Fitter / Maintenance Technician looking for a role on a Monday – Friday day shift. The company are happy to offer 16 – 30 hours per week.
Your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Inspecting facilities, machinery, equipment, systems (air con & lighting etc)
* Routine cleaning
* Basic repairs (site and machinery) and servicing
* Grounds maintenance
* Liaise with 3rd party contractors and other internal departments and management
Experience of working in a manufacturing / engineering environment is essential. You will be hard working and flexible as well as technically astute – including being able to work from technical / engineering drawings.
Mechanical & / or Electrical Engineering qualifications are also advantageous.
Salary will be up to £17.00 per hour (DOE). Hours to be worked between 08:00 – 17:00, Mon – Fri.
The site is commutable from all parts of Telford as well as Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Newport, Bridgnorth, Shifnal, Ironbdrige etc
