Male Support Worker/Care Assistant Ref: Ks/Ld.12-23

MaleSupport Worker/Care Assistant required for a young man with Autism, Severe Anxiety and Complex Needs who lives In Fernhill, Rutherglen. He is very intelligent and uses an App on the iPad to communicate as he is nonverbal.

He is looking for an active, confident, enthusiastic person who is kind and patient to encourage him to go out on day trips to places of interest.

He enjoys walking, listening to music, ten-pin bowling, trampolining, museums, football and learning new things.

Driver essential with access to own vehicle preferred but not essential.

Recruiting for a permanent position of 16 hours per week

One week day: 8am - 4pm (the weekday is flexible dependent on candidate)

Saturday: 8am - 4pm

Overtime will be available

This will all be negotiated at interview

Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour
