Role: Managed IT Sales - Business Development Manager
Location: Southampton
Salary / Rate of pay: £35,000pa Plus Benefits

They are seeking a driven Managed IT Sales - Business Development Manager to aid the Southampton team in driving business opportunities.
Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on the best IT solutions for our clients. You will be knowledgeable and have proven experience of advising clients on Managed IT solutions, Office 365, Cloud Hosting, Backup and Recovery. In addition, you will have a proactive nature, have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with customers.

What's involved?
- Work with the Managed Print Service Account Managers to uncover Managed IT opportunities.
* Contact existing managed print clients via phone to generate appointments.
* Take ownership of the full sales cycle, identify opportunities and build and manage a Sales Pipeline.
* To promote the full product portfolio of the Managed IT business.
* Work in a consultative sales approach to establish strategic relationships.
* Produce sales proposals for customers.
* Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in line with business objectives.
* Maintain a high level of industry and competitor knowledge.
What you need:
- A minimum of 5 years' sales experience in the Managed IT sector
* Proven track record of winning new business
* Excellent Account Management Skills
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to network with a customer organisation to identify all key influencers and decision makers.
* In addition to Managed IT experience, it would be advantageous to have experience in selling Cloud Hosted Telephony, Connectivity, WANs, and Mobile. (advantageous but not essential)
