Management Accountant

We are recruiting for a full time Management Accountant; this role is working for a well-established and reputable Mansfield- based organisation on a permanent basis.

Duties:

•     Monthly preparation of Management Accounts and supplementary reports, including journals & commentary on variances

•     Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

•     Stock Reconciliations

•     Fixed Assets set up & reporting

•     Quarterly VAT return

•     Bi-monthly Irish VAT return

•     Weekly profit reporting to key stakeholders

•     Supporting the wider finance team when required

Requirements

• At least 5 years in Management Accounts within an SME.
• Qualified or Part Qualified is preferable but qualified by experience will be considered.
• Well organised & good time keeping skills
• Competent excel and written skills
• Work within a team
• Use own initiative to investigate and solve problems
• Be able to present and talk about key financial data
• Previous experience in dealing with VAT returns & queries would be desirable
• Previous experience in an ERP system would be desirable
• Previous experience in manufacturing would be desirable
