SalaryA specialist professional services firm is looking for an accomplished Management Accountant to join their busy finance function on a temporary basis. Operating out of modern offices in the heart of Guildford town, this thriving SME has a friendly, collaborative working environment and an output focused culture offering flexibility and hybrid working. The initial assignment is expected to last for 3 months and there is a strong likelihood of this being extended.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
- Balance sheet, bank, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Posting journals and analysing/reconciling previous months’ entries.
- Assisting the Finance Manager and Management Accounts team in the run up to audit.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
- Previous experience in management accounting, with significant exposure to completing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Proficient in ERP accounting software (Sage X3 desirable) plus confident Excel user (pivots & lookups).
- Ideally Part Qualified or Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA; however, strong QBE candidates will also be considered.
- Available to start at short notice – 1 week or less.
