Key Responsibilities:

Duties include:

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, executing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports adhering to internal reporting deadlines.
• Conduct comprehensive variance analysis, accompanied by insightful commentary to aid in decision-making.
• Prepare meticulous monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Analyse and present revenue data for strategic insights.
• Manage monthly accruals and prepayments, guaranteeing accurate financial records.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and Hire Purchase (HP) schedule, accounting for additions and disposals with attention to detail.
• Calculate intricate customer and supplier rebate schemes for financial clarity.
• Investigate and implement additional reporting requirements to support the business's strategic decision-making processes.
• Calculate and submit VAT and CIS returns promptly in accordance with HMRC deadlines, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) or Qualified By Experience (QBE) with relevant experience.
• Proven experience in producing management accounts.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for effective reporting and presentations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
