About the roleENGIE are recruiting for a Management Accountant based in Exeter . This is a 6-Month Fixed Term Contrat role, working full time Monday to Friday.?On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing timely and accurate monthly reporting/management accounts for all businesses and consolidate pack to a high standard in accordance with IFRS or other local GAAP
Provide commentary on all variance analysis.
Deliver high quality accounting services so that the reporting results are robust and reliable.
Close month end in line with aggressive timetable using into SMART including detailed analysis of all intra group movements, quarterly, half yearly or annual additional schedules.
To assist with the weekly KPI’s for the sites to measure performance and efficiency.
Maintaining the accounting ledgers for companies using specific ERP system up to trial balance including, monthly taxation and deferred taxation calculations, and other transactions associated with the companies in scope.
Preparation of timely and accurate monthly rolling cash flow statements
Accountability for preparation of high quality statutory accounts for submission to Companies House
Qualified accountant (ACCA/ICAEW) with good knowledge of accounts production and consolidation
Commercial awareness with an excellent understanding of how an organisation works and manages resources
Understanding of the energy sector
Ability to explain complex financial information in a clear format
Have worked in a multi-national business
Basic knowledge and understanding of corporation tax.
Knowledge and understanding of VAT
Strong data skills and advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office packages.
