Description
· Working closely with UK Finance and Operations Director and Group Finance Director in establishing and maintaining tools and processes related to accounting reporting and accounts payable
· Reconcile and approve Balance Sheet Accounts on a monthly basis including proper documentation and appropriate working papers
· Analyse general ledger accounts for accuracy, extraordinary, aged items or unusual items. Quarterly BS review preparation
· Organise financial and accounting activities according to internal rules and procedures and company management requirements
· Prepare/monitor cash flows and ensure all transactions are within financial guidelines, also to ensure timely payments to suppliers and collection of receivables from customers
· Prepare and present monthly management reporting to UK Finance and Operations Director and Group Finance Director including analysis of budget versus actual results
· Produce various monthly sales and gross margin reports for the UK Finance and Operations Director and Head of Sales
· Produce consolidated management accounts for UK Finance and Operations Director
· Assist with the preparation of monthly payroll and associated tasks
· Become an ERP superuser
· Assist in the management of credit insurance cover
· Assist with the operational management of the UK facility, including assisting the sales administrators and warehouse staff.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised qualification in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Exceptional numerical proficiency and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of financial legislation and standards
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Job Offer
