Job Description
As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Ensuring accuracy of financial statements and providing financial reports.
- Management of annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the Finance Director in delivering financial objectives.
- Engaging with stakeholders across the business to drive financial performance.
- Leading ad-hoc projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong technical accounting experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
- Experience in the healthcare industry would be beneficial but not essential.
