Job Description
- Prepare financial statements and monthly management accounts
- Conduct variance vs budget exercise
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards
- Participate in financial audits and work closely with external auditors
- Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives
- Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial results
- Support the finance team with process improvements and automation projects
- Collaborate effectively with the wider business to support financial decision-making
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a similar role within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
