SalaryCY Executive Resourcing are pleased to be supporting a high performing NHS Trust in their search for a Management Accountant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the production and analysis of monthly financial statements for a number of service lines, and providing financial advice to budget holders to assist them in the preparation of annual budgets and business plans.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce timely and accurate financial statements for service lines on a monthly basis
- Support budget holders in managing their financial position to enable the Trust to achieve its financial targets
- Report service line financial positions to the Senior Finance Team to allow aggregation of the Trust s financial position on a timely monthly basis
- Analyse complex financial trends involving many streams of data, and forecast financial expenditure
- Prepare annual Directorate budgets for service planning, supporting budget holders through the budget setting process
- Monitor & control budgetary changes throughout the year for relevant Directorates
- Allocate work to junior staff members and deliver appropriate training to new / junior staff members
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and driven individual, and demonstrate a real desire to learn and progress. You will be actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/CIPFA/ACCA or equivalent), and have experience of meeting with budget holders and relaying finance information to non-finance colleagues.
