ACCOUNTANT / DUBLIN / HYBRID (FULLY FLEXIBLE) / €75K - €90K PLUS BENEFITS

This new Management Accountant role offers the chance to grow within the team and to develop into other aspects of e-money virtual card operations and accounting.
The successful Management Accountant will partner and provide critical support working alongside the local Financial Director in all aspects of Operational, Financial and Regulatory Reporting in relation to the business.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
- Execute and deliver the required CBI/EBA Regulatory Reporting obligations
- Preparation of the monthly and annual financial accounts
- Lead the preparation / update of all required budgets, forecasts and resulting finance MI packs
- Reconciliation of all finance operations control account balances to a month-end
- Execute required payment scheme settlements and any OFEL specific safeguarding payment transfers
- Monitor and where necessary investigate discrepancies of daily relevant funds
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns for Irish VAT group
- Lead special projects aimed at process improvement
- Partner with local Regulatory Compliance leads as well as support the wider Finance Operations team in London, and Accounting teams in Melbourne, Australia and Portland, Maine.
Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), with post qualified experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under rigid time constraints
- Knowledge and delivery of CBI / EBA related regulatory reporting
- Strong data analytical skills including advanced excel skills
- Not afraid of large volumes of transactional data, with the ability to manipulate this through MS Excel
- Ability to juggle multiple system and platforms. Prior use of Blackline and Netsuite useful
- Background of working with payment scheme providers (i.e. Mastercard + Visa) is a notable plus
