SalaryManagement Accountant
We're looking for a Management Accountant to join us on a Hybrid basis or full time in Colchester. This person will play a key role supporting the Finance team.
The ideal candidate will…
- Have experience as a Management Accountant or similar role
- An accountancy qualification or part-qualified and can finish studies whilst working with us (or sufficient comparable experience)
- Experience of using accounting software and a Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and financial services
- You have a growth mindset, and are always looking at ways of pushing the business forward.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to translate financial information to non-finance stakeholder
Role and responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including monthly and annual reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Develop and maintain financial models for business planning and analysis
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits
