Our client is a multi-academy trust. They have a dozenschools across Manchester, Trafford, Knowsley and Wigan. They are looking forManagement Accountant to join one of the Manchester based schools.
Your new role
You will beresponsible for leading the financial accounting and assist the wider Trustfinance teams, ensuring the delivery of high quality, efficient finance reportsand information to the Trust management teams.
- Work closely with theHead of School in all financial planning, budget and forecast processes andconsolidate results for their areas, meeting with budget holders as appropriate
- Prepare and review themonthly management accounts, provide insightful management information andfinancial analysis and deliver to deadlines
- Line manage members ofthe finance team, providing developmental support or training as necessary and beactively involved in line management and training of the wider team where appropriate
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
- Qualified at AAT Level4 or towards a professional accounting or business qualification such asACA,ACCA,CIMA, CSBM
- Minimum of 3 years'experience of working within finance and accounting within the last 5 years
- Experience of workingin an academy or multi academy trust finance environment (Desirable)
- Excellentinterpersonal skills
- Proven ability tocommunicate clearly with colleagues at all levels both verbally and in writing
- Proven ability topresent information in a logical, clear and concise format
