Manchester’s leading business growth specialist are recruiting Key Account Manager’s to develop strong relationship with the most strategically important businesses in Greater Manchester. The Key Account Manager build value driven relationships to generate maximum economic impact.
Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of professional experience in managing complex B2B sales cycles for key enterprise accounts,
  • Strong skills in managing consultive sales cycles ideally in the intellectual services.
  • Excellent formal communication and presentation skills in order to organise and lead C-level meetings,
  • Appetite for business development and eager to hunt and create new opportunities to break ground in an industry where partnerships have yet to be built,
  • Acquire, from a portfolio of prospects and clients,
  • Accompany key clients in the analysis of their organisational environments
  • Conducting meetings (regular or ad-hoc) and presenting deliverables on an ongoing basis: contractual follow-up points, production of external analyses and benchmarks, optimization of the customer experience, sharing of sector analyses,
  • Establish strong relationships with the service providers within the group, and with external stakeholders such as private sector partners, sector organisations and Local Authorities. Working across these bodies the Key Account Manager will ensure that the company receives the most appropriate and holistic support available.
  • Undertake a business diagnosis, challenge the business where appropriate and produce an action plan. This process will help develop the most effective sequence of support and service delivery to maximize economic impact and will be documented and agreed in partnership with the business

  • Strong account management and interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate credibility with others including understanding of issues customers face in growing their business.
  • Leadership skills and ability to credibly influence at a senior level
  • Ability to understand and analyse data
  • Ability to focus and achieve results through the development of strategic consultative relationships at a senior level.
  • Ability to conduct sensitive and complex negotiations to have influence and ensure the best service is delivered.
  • Ability to monitor projects against milestones, keeping clients aware of progress or delays and negotiating acceptable compromises.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, oral and broader presentation skills.
