Management Accountant

Elevation Senior Finance are recruiting a Management Accountant for an Industry leading manufacturing business in Alfreton. This is a listed business that has multiple sites across the UK and has seen signifncant growth in the last 5 years.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a key role within the Group finance team, with the main purpose of the role being to provide key management information to the senior management team. This role is open to candidates who are looking for full-time or part-time hours (3-4 days per week).

Responsibilities will include:

• Consolidation of the Group management accounts
• Liaising with each business unit budget holder, reviewing variances from budget / forecast and prior year performance
• Preparation of Board and Executive Committee reporting and analysis
• Consolidation of Group budget and budget analysis
• Enhance existing systems including ERP development
• Assure compainance with Group accounting policies
• Produce analysis of P&L and balance sheet 
• Support with ad-hoc projects

Key skills required:

• Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or part-qualified or qualified by experience
• Previous experience in a financial reporting role
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
