This newly created role is pivotal to our organisation's growth and expansion. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our client's financial success through accurate reporting. You will manage revenue recognition, oversee travel and expense processes, and conduct future expense forecasting. Attention to detail and precision are paramount, as you will be tasked with maintaining quality financial information and ensuring compliance with procedural and statutory obligations.
Responsibilities:- Maintain the revenue recognition policy and schedule for all professional services revenue.
- Own the travel and expense policy and systems, ensuring full compliance and highlighting any non-compliance to management.
- Track all travel expenses within the business and reconcile them against travel request forms.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Finance team to produce in-month expense forecasts.
- Assist with foreign subsidiary ledger postings and manage tax filing requirements with third-party tax advisors.
- Previous experience in an account’s role is essential.
- Preferably part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience with Sage50 accounts would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with all levels of employees.
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Discretion when handling sensitive data.
- Great attention to detail.
- Experience working within a team environment.
